About the conference
Last year's KazDrilling by KazService conference allowed us to identify problems not only in the field of drilling, but also in the Upstream as a whole. Taking into account the decrease in production from subsurface users and analyzing the market, we pay special attention to improving oil recovery, introducing new technologies for the extraction of hard-to-recover reserves, discussing tax preferences and social issues.
Following the success of the 2023 Conference, KazService proudly announces the upcoming second annual conference «KazDrilling: Upstream of Kazakhstan», dedicated to drilling, maintenance, and geophysics. Scheduled for April 2, 2024, in Atyrau, with the support of the Ministry of Energy of the RoK, the Authorized body «PSA» and NCE «Atameken», this event will gather industry leaders to exchange insights and discuss the latest trends.
Following the success of the 2023 Conference, KazService proudly announces the upcoming second annual conference «KazDrilling: Upstream of Kazakhstan», dedicated to drilling, maintenance, and geophysics. Scheduled for April 2, 2024, in Atyrau, with the support of the Ministry of Energy of the RoK, the Authorized body «PSA» and NCE «Atameken», this event will gather industry leaders to exchange insights and discuss the latest trends.
We plan to discuss the most pressing issues related to geology and mining, study international experience in working with hard-to-recover reserves, discuss the increase in oil recovery coefficient (ORC), the possibility of developing shale oil production, as well as issues of social responsibility and procurement.
The KazDrilling conference will become the largest dialogue platform for drilling market players and will be aimed at discussing and highlighting problematic and technical issues.
The conference will facilitate exceptional networking opportunities among high-ranking officials from government agencies, oil institutions, procurement departments of oil and gas companies, subsoil users, prominent drilling firms, and suppliers in Kazakhstan's oilfield services sector. It will focus on presenting subsoil users' drilling strategies, addressing current industry challenges, showcasing success stories, and discussing the outlook for advancing new technologies.
